If you want a foil balloon to float you need to fill it with helium but some foil balloons are too small to float even when filled with helium. These balloons are therefore intended to be filled with air and don't have the normal self-sealing valves that foil balloons intended for helium have so in order to stop the air escaping you have to heat seal them.Air filled foil balloons can be used to create lots of beautiful designs like those pictured. These balloons will have been air filled, heat sealed & then tied together to create garlands or spheres.
The foil balloon can be filled with an air inflator or a hand pump before heat sealing however it is important that you heat seal the balloons properly otherwise the air will escape and your balloons will deflate.
